Kathleen Kingsley Báez

I have been a dancer all my life – performer, choreographer, artistic director, teaching artist, workshop leader, teacher. Dancing has always been my passion. My mission is to support people in discovering and connecting with their own creativity. The medium is dance and choreography.

Currently I am teaching and developing the dance curriculum at a small charter school in Las Vegas, New Mexico, as well as leading teacher workshops in dance in the classroom. Here I have the opportunity to develop critical and creative thinkers, careful observers and appreciators of dance. I have a studio where I teach creative movement as well as other classes. I also direct a children’s dance theater of brilliant young performers.

Of late I have been expanding my command of the “visual arts” by building a straw bale casita with my husband, Randy. I have become the “expert” in mud plasters, clay plasters and clay paint pigment colors and finishes.
